ABOUT US
Chris Hannival, the owner and founder of Hannival’s Tours & Travel, is a fully independent, qualified, licensed and insured guide with his own fleet of luxury vehicles.
We offer private, personally guided tours to the highlights of the major attractions of the Western Cape, but with an alternative historical and political perspective the larger tour companies don’t offer. Each of our tours is custom designed around your preferences and no two trips follow the same route or sites.

Besides for a comfortable and luxurious travel experience with us, here are some tips prior to arriving to our beautiful country.
LOAD SHEDDING
Our beautiful country does experience load shedding, so please be sure to download an App called “ESP Loadshedding” on your Android of Apple device to see when the power will be out.
TYPE M ADAPTOR
Our plugs will most likely differ to what you have in your country, so be sure to purchase a Type M travel plug adaptor. These can be picked up online via stores like Amazon.
DON’T WORRY ABOUT CASH
From public street parking, to markets, to restaurants and hotels, virtually every single place in Cape Town accepts credit cards.
TIPPING CULTURE
From local coffee shops to restaurants, it is commonly expected to “tip” at the end. This is usually around 10% of the total bill fee and gets paid out to the person that served you.
